People often discuss about carriage house doors made of natural wood. Three different wood types are used in six different carriage house designs, along with a variety of top section and window panel styles that can be combined, painted, or stained to match any style of architecture and colour scheme.

OVERVIEW

The Reserve® Wood Semi-Custom series garage doors are the ideal method to give your house a vintage feel while also giving it a distinctive appearance that will make it stand out in the community. These doors provide you a choice of three wood species, six base door types, and finishes including natural oak, cedar, and mahogany. They also make a lovely addition to the architecture of your house.

OVERVIEW OF CONSTRUCTION

  • Two-layer construction that is handmade.

  • Wood from sustainably managed and naturally fallen forests is used by Clopay.

  • For installations requiring significant wind loads, WINDCODE® door reinforcing is offered.

 

OVERVIEW OF THE DESIGN

  • ​Available base door designs number six.

  • Hemlock, Redwood, and Cedar are the available wood species.

  • There are numerous different window styles and decorative hardware options.

  • Doors that have been factory finished are offered in seven popular stains, including natural oak, mahogany, and cedar, or painted white.

  • Additionally offered for field painting is priming.

 

ASSURANCE FOR THE ENVIORNMENT

Clopay doors are in accordance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Clopay doors are free of HFCs. Clopay doors meet the following requirements:

  • SB 1013 (California)

  • HB 1112 — Hydrofluorocarbon Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Washington

  • Ozone-depleting chemicals and halocarbon alternatives rules in Canada have been amended.

  • Greenhouse Gas Bill (A-5583/S-3919) in New Jersey

LIFTMASTER® ELITE SERIES™

For these garage doors, Clopay recommends LiftMaster® Elite Series® openers. These openers come with a variety of functions that make life much easier.

  • 2-layer, uninsulated wood doors that have been expertly made in the style of a carriage house. Swing-out design and contemporary functioning.

  • Made of the finest wood species, which were sourced from forests that were managed sustainably and naturally.

  • Standard vinyl weatherseal on the bottom helps keep out the elements. An optional aluminium retainer will offer further security.
