OVERVIEW

Choose the Gallery® steel doors from Clopay® if you want carriage house garage doors with the durability of steel. Whether your vision for your home’s appearance is elegant, sleek, unique, or somewhere in between, the Gallery®’s design can provide just the appearance you need to refresh it.

OVERVIEW OF CONSTRUCTION

  • Three, two, or one-layer construction choices are available.

  • 2″ or 1-3/8″ Intellicore® polyurethane, 2″ or 1-3/8″ polystyrene, or 1-5/16″ vinyl-backed polystyrene are also available as insulation alternatives.

  • R-values for insulated doors range from 6.3 to 18.4.

  • A robust, multilayer coating technique protects the steel skins, which comprises a hot-dipped galvanised layer as well as baked-on primer and top coat.

  • For high wind load applications, WINDCODE® door reinforcing is provided.

 

OVERVIEW OF DESIGN

  • Steel carriage house designs with grooved panels in short and long panels.

  • Almond, black, Ultra-Grain® Oak Walnut Finish and other factory finish paint colors are available.

  • Acrylic, insulated, frosted, seeded, rain, and obscure glass are among the many types available.

  • Window grilles that are easy to clean.

  • Spade lift handles and step plates are included. There are a variety of decorative hardware alternatives available.

 

ASSURANCE FOR THE ENVIORNMENT

Clopay doors are in accordance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Clopay doors are free of HFCs. Clopay doors meet the following requirements:

  • SB 1013 (California)

  • HB 1112 — Hydrofluorocarbon Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Washington

  • Ozone-depleting chemicals and halocarbon alternatives rules in Canada have been amended.

  • Greenhouse Gas Bill (A-5583/S-3919) in New Jersey

For these garage doors, Clopay recommends LiftMaster® Elite Series® openers. These openers come with a variety of functions that make life much easier.

  • ​Protect against the elements with a replaceable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-free aluminium retainer.

  • Window grilles can be easily removed for cleaning.

  • Safe-T-Bracket® – Protects against serious injury if the bottom bracket is removed while the garage door is closed and under tension.

  • Steel skins are protected from rust with a multi-layered coating method that includes a hot-dipped galvanized layer, a protective metal oxide pre-treatment, and a baked-on primer and top coat.

  • Air infiltration requirements of 0.40 cfm/ft2 or fewer are met by this product, according to the 2015 IECC (IECC, Section C402.5.2)
